European’s highest point is the Elbrus, Russia (Caucasus): 18,510 feet / 5642 meters . With a maximum depth of 744.4 m (2,442 ft) Lake Baikal (Russia), is the world's second most bulky lake, after the Caspian Sea. It is the most voluminous freshwater lake in the world and contains a total of roughly 20 percent of the world's surface fresh water. Nowadays European community increases its borders to the East admitted a new members as a Romania, Bulgaria, and Poland. The best important cities are Brussels, Vienna, Bohn and Moscow.

  1. Thanks for sharing these maps. I see that you are most interested with Europe. It was interesting to read your extra comments about each map. I think much of what you discuss could actually be included in such maps using a GIS!
